1. Statement of commitment

Xylon X LTD is committed to providing a fair, inclusive, respectful, and non-discriminatory working environment for all employees, founders, contractors, collaborators, candidates, and stakeholders.

We believe that gender equality strengthens innovation, improves decision-making, supports talent retention, and contributes to better business and research outcomes. We therefore commit to promoting equal opportunities regardless of gender, gender identity or expression, family status, age, disability, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, or any other protected characteristic.

This Gender Equality Plan sets out our principles, responsibilities, actions, and monitoring approach. It is publicly available on our website and applies across the organisation.

2. Scope and objectives

This Plan applies to all areas of the company, including recruitment and hiring, compensation and career progression, leadership and decision-making, working conditions and organisational culture, prevention of harassment, discrimination, and gender-based violence, training and awareness, and research, innovation, and product design where relevant.

The objectives of this Plan are to:

  • ensure equal treatment and equal opportunity at all stages of employment

  • promote balanced participation in leadership and decision-making

  • support work-life balance and flexible working arrangements

  • prevent and address harassment, discrimination, and retaliation

  • monitor progress through data and regular review

  • integrate gender-aware thinking into products, services, and innovation activities where relevant

3. Governance and responsibility

Overall responsibility for this Plan lies with the management of Xylon X LTD.

The company designates Nikolay L. Kotsev, Founder & CTO, as the person responsible for the coordination, implementation, and annual review of this Plan.

Xylon X LTD commits to allocating appropriate time and organisational support to implement the measures described below, in proportion to the company’s size and stage of development.

4. Key principles

Xylon X LTD commits to:

  • zero tolerance for discrimination, harassment, sexual harassment, bullying, or retaliation

  • fair and transparent recruitment and promotion practices

  • equal pay for equal work or work of equal value

  • inclusive and respectful communication

  • support for flexible work where operationally feasible

  • merit-based assessment using objective criteria

  • confidentiality and protection for anyone reporting concerns

5. Actions by thematic area

A. Work-life balance and organisational culture

Xylon X LTD will:

  • support flexible working arrangements where compatible with business needs

  • avoid scheduling practices that unnecessarily disadvantage people with caregiving responsibilities

  • promote a culture of mutual respect, inclusion, and professional conduct

  • use inclusive and non-discriminatory language in internal and external communication where appropriate

  • ensure leave policies are applied fairly and without stigma

B. Gender balance in leadership and decision-making

Xylon X LTD will:

  • review representation in leadership, project ownership, and decision-making roles at least annually

  • encourage balanced participation in decision-making and visibility opportunities

  • apply transparent criteria when assigning responsibilities and advancement opportunities

  • identify and address avoidable barriers to progression

C. Gender equality in recruitment and career progression

Xylon X LTD will:

  • use gender-neutral wording in job descriptions where possible

  • assess candidates against objective, role-relevant criteria

  • keep interview and selection processes structured and consistent

  • avoid questions unrelated to job performance, including assumptions linked to family status or caregiving

  • review compensation and progression decisions periodically for possible disparities

  • provide equal access to professional development opportunities

D. Gender dimension in research, innovation, and product development

Where relevant to its activities, Xylon X LTD will:

  • consider whether user needs, testing, safety, design, accessibility, or data may differ by sex or gender

  • avoid avoidable gender bias in datasets, assumptions, testing approaches, and product communication

  • document when gender considerations are relevant and how they were taken into account in project development

Where this dimension is not relevant, Xylon X LTD will record that assessment in a proportionate way.

E. Prevention of gender-based violence and sexual harassment

Xylon X LTD will:

  • maintain a zero-tolerance approach to harassment, sexual harassment, intimidation, and abusive behaviour

  • provide a clear internal channel for reporting concerns

  • handle complaints promptly, fairly, and confidentially

  • protect individuals from retaliation when reporting concerns in good faith

  • take appropriate corrective action where misconduct is confirmed

6. Data collection and monitoring

To support implementation, Xylon X LTD will collect and review proportionate, privacy-compliant data, where feasible, including:

  • gender distribution across the workforce

  • gender distribution in leadership and founder roles

  • recruitment and candidate pipeline data where available

  • promotion and role-change data where available

  • pay review observations where feasible

  • participation in relevant training

  • anonymised records of reported incidents related to discrimination or harassment where applicable

This Plan and its indicators will be reviewed at least once per year. Updates may be published on the company website or retained in internal governance records.

7. Training and awareness

Xylon X LTD will provide proportionate awareness and training actions, which may include:

  • onboarding information on equal treatment and respectful conduct

  • reminders of reporting channels and expected standards of behaviour

  • basic training for founders or managers involved in hiring and supervision

  • refresher actions when policies are updated or risks are identified

8. Reporting concerns

Anyone covered by this Plan may report concerns directly to:

Reports will be handled confidentially and, to the extent possible, in line with applicable employment, privacy, and anti-discrimination standards.

9. Review and publication

This Gender Equality Plan is approved by management and published on the website of Xylon X LTD. It will be reviewed annually and updated as the company grows, changes structure, or identifies new priorities.
